Install July 2016 Nexus Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Factory Image and OTA MTC19Z/X, MOB30O/P

The July Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware factory images and OTA update are up on the Google Developer page. Just a few hours ago Google released the July security patches and the OTA updates have been hitting Nexus devices across the globe. However, the updates roll out in waves and it may take a couple of days to hit your device. We cannot say much about the update at this moment. AOSP development team have been trying their best to get Nexus users better experience. For all we know is it brings the new security patches from July as expected and comes up with some bug fixes here and there. The June changelog emphasized more on the issues involved with  the vulnerabilities in Qualcomm drivers like the video, WiFi, audio drivers, etc. You can keep checking the security bulletin page for a full changelog from the AOSP until Google actually updates it for July. It is still the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and Google may release the stable official build for the upcoming Android 7.0 Nougat in the upcoming months. Meanwhile, you can install the Android N Developer Preview 4 easily onto your Nexus, Android One and Sony Xperia devices.  The July Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update comes in the form of OTA update as well as full factory images (stock firmware) zip files.
This brings the firmware build number MTC19X to Nexus 6P and MTC19Z Nexus 5X. It also brings MOB30O firmware build to Nexus 6 and MOB30P to Nexus 9 WiFi and LTE, and Nexus Player, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7 2013 WiFi and LTE variants. Moreover, Pixel C has not yet received any build number. It may show up soon with build Some Pixel C users have reported unexpected crashes with this July security patch update. To install the July security patches/updates on your Nexus device, you can flash the factory images and restore to stock. If for some reason you have not received the updates over-the-air using Google FOTA service, then here is the July OTA round up for you. Update: Pixes C has received MXC89K July 2016 MArshmallow update via factory image and OTA as well.

How to Install July 2016 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA Updates on Nexus 6P/5X/5/6/9 Player, Pixel C and more?
The OTA updates can be installed directly with the stock recovery or using the ADB sideload method. however, you ned to setup the ADB and Fastboot environment on your PC. Fortunately, we already have the tutorials ready for it. Take a look at how to install OTA updates manually on Nexus devices and also get more OTA update files. The OTA updates may or may not work for those who have rooted, modified the system heavily or installed a TWRP recovery onto their device. Hence, if you are looking forward to flashing the OTA on with TWRP recovery, the it is highly recommended that you back up.
