How to Install Honor 8 EMUI 4.1 Theme?

In order to install the EMUI 4.1 theme, replace the stock theme file with this new Honor 8 theme file. Follow the steps below.

  • First backup the original theme file and place it in a safe place such that you can easily revert back to the stock theme just in case anything goes wrong.
  • To apply this theme: Download the theme.zip file, then rename the theme filename to theme.hwt. You may also need to extract it if the theme is compressed into zip extention.
  • Now place the EMUItheme.hwt file in HWThemes folder internal storage or sd card and apply it in Themes app.
  • Reboot once and enjoy your new theme.
