Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 2017 receive Nougat based June 2017 security updates

Eventually, all the Samsung smartphones are receiving the official Android 7.0 Nougat update ranging from the S series, Note series, A series, and the J series. Today, the Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 2017 Editions are receiving the official Android 7.0 Nougat Samsung Experience firmware upgrade. This new update is includes the June 2017 security patches. TouchWiz user interface is now restricted to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Henceforth, the Nougat firmware for J5 SM-J530F and J7 SM-J730F shall be based on Samsung Experience.

There are basically 3 firmware builds rolling out for the Galaxy J7 2017 edition SM-J710F including J530FXXU1AQF4, J530FXXU1AQF5, J530FXXU1AQF6. This is due to the difference in the regions the phone is located at. The same goes for the Galaxy J7 with firmware (or baseband version) J730FXXU1AQF4 and J730FXXU1AQF6 for different regions. The update integrates the latest June 2017 Android security patch level and all the Nougat goodies. Samsung has made the new UX modern, materialistic, and simple.
