OnePlus 5 camera app runs on Samsung Galaxy S8, S7 and more [APK download]
OnePlus 5 is the latest flagship phone from the emerging Chinese manufacturer which has gained popularity in a short time. OnePlus 5 is their mighty smartphone with high-end specifications at a budget pricing. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, Adreno 540, 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM makes it a remarkable device. In order to support this stunning hardware specification, one also needs a good software. Hence, OnePlus has been pushing several bug fixes and Oxygen OS OTA updates. The latest Oxygen OS 4.5.3 brings several camera optimizations towards OnePlus 5.
The phone comes with a Dual 16 MP, f/1.7, 24mm, EIS (gyro) + 20 MP, f/2.6, 36mm rear camera module. This makes autofocus highly responsive. The camera transition has become smooth and takes sharper images. The OnePlus 5 camera app has a simple user interface. It packs several features including HDR, Pro mode, Time-Lapse, Slow motion, Panorama, along with Full HD photo and video recordings.

The camera app can be installed directly onto the Samsung Galaxy devices. It has been tested working on the Samsung Galaxy S8 (Plus), S7 (Edge). You are free to install it on any other Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony, device. It will install as a separate application and not replace the stock camera app, unlike OnePlus 3/3T.
In the case of OnePlus 3 or 3T, the APK file will try to replace the stock camera app package which is com.oneplus.camera. This is because all the OnePlus devices run the Oxygen OS firmware.
