October 2017 Security Patch Now Rolling for T-Mobile Galaxy S8(Plus) [G950USQU1AQJ8]

T-Mobile rolling out October 2017 security patch for Galaxy S8 and S8+ with firmware build number G950USQU1AQJ8 and G955USQU1AQJ8 respectively. This is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. See how to update by downloading the full stock firmware.

The first week of November is about to end but Samsung is still busy seeding October security patches. The devices on US carriers are no exception to that. As we speak, October security patch for T-Mobile Galaxy S8 and S8+ is seeding. As usual Samsung’s monthly updates it also brings the fix for system stabilization. The OTA update weighs in around 155 MB and the full firmware weighs over 2GB.

This update will take the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ to the firmware build number G950USQU1AQJ8 and G955USQU1AQJ8 respectively. Since it is seeding in waves as OTA, it will take time to be gradually available for every device. Alternatively, you can also manually download and install the firmware from Samsung servers.
