How to Install EMUI 9.1 onto Huawei Mate 20 via dload method?

Dload Method 1

• Download the update.zip file from above
• Extract it to get the the update.app file
• Create a folder called dload in the root of your phone storage (meaning outside every folder) and place the file in that folder
• Now go to the phone Settings > Update and press the menu button
• Select choose Local update
• Select the update.app file when displayed by tapping on it
• The installation process will begin
• Wait for completion and then reboot your device

Dload Method 2

• Download the update.zip file from above
• Extract it to get the the update.app file
• Create a folder called dload in the root of your phone storage (meaning outside every folder) and place the file in that folder
• Now turn off your device comepletely
• Press and hold 3 buttons (Volume Up, Volume Down and Power Button) together
• The update process will start automatically
• Wait for completion and then reboot your device
