Xiaomi just announced their latest firmware update called the MIUI 11. The MIU 11 update is taking the world by storm with some stunning new features, revamped user interface, redesigned updated apps, new icons, custom fonts support, AOD support, new icons, and much more. According to Xiaomi’s official launch event that took place recently, the first MIUI 11 public beta firmware will roll out starting September 27, 2019. Meanwhile, the MIUI 11 china developer ROM is already available for download below. You can expect features like the most anticipated system wide dark mode and the custom font options – where users will be able to set exact thickness for UI font they are comfortable with. Another highlighted feature of MIUI 11 is the new Always-On Display (AOD) which brings several clock faces or AOD patterns. Finally, Xiaomi brings a solution for lack of LED notification lights in new phones. The sides of the screen light up when a notification arrives. Other features include Ambient display, Sounds of nature, Mi Share, Casting, Printing, and Utra battery saver.

For what we know, the MIUI 11 will come in 4 variants, that is, based on Android 10, Android 9 Pie, 8.1 Oreo, and 7 Nougat depending on the device hardware and launch date. So for the firmware based on Android 10, you get all the latest goodies including live caption, smart reply, sound amplifier, gesture navigation, dark mode, privacy controls, location controls, focus mode, family link, and more. This is the first build beta build of the MIUI 11 released for several Xiaomi devices. The following ROMs come officially from Xiaomi servers and are based on MIUI 11 v9.9.24. These are indeed the China developer ROM. Though its a Chinese ROM, you can set the language at the first boot up sceen. However, there are no Google apps or services.
