It has been a long time that we have heard from the Lineage OS team. This is the same development team that started the revolutionary Cyanogen Mod custom ROMs for almost all the Android devices at the time. Now, after several years of development, the legacy continues with Lineage OS ROMS. Today, we are getting the latest update for the ROM with Lineage OS 17.1 nightly builds based on Android 10. The first official Lineage OS 17.1 ROMS are now available for download for several Android devices.

The first Android phones to receive the official Lineage OS 17.1 ROMs based on Android 10 include OnePlus 3 and 3T, OnePlus 6T, Xiaomi Poco F1, Xiaomi Mi 8, many LG V20 variants including H918, H990 and H995, and most of the Motorola devices including Moto G6 Plus, Moto One Power, Moto Z, Z2 Force, and Moto X4. There could be more devices that we may have missed. You can check out the complete list from the download section below.

Now, if you don’t already know, Android 10 comes with many new features including enhanced location permissions, advanced privacy tools, new notification categories and management, full screen navigation gestures from Google Pixel, advanced dark mode or Night Mode, latest Android security updates, brand new battery usage graph, Digital Wellbeing, pre-installed Android Auto, removal of Android Beam, and much more. So you will of course get all these features with Lineage OS 17.1 and more.

Download Gapps for Lineage OS 17.1 Android 10

Google Apps (Gapps as we call it) come as a separate package from Lineage OS or most of the other custom ROMS out there. So if you would like Google apps and services like Play Services, Play Store, Google Search, etc on your Lineage OS ROM, then flash the following Gapps after your flash the ROM. Moreover, Open Gapps have already posted several Android 10 supporting Google Apps packages.
