Download: Xiaomi Mi Box S/4K second OTA 3 Beta 1 update

If you don’t already know, Xiaomi started a new Android 9 Pie beta program for the Mi Box S, or the recently launched and re-branded Mi Box 4K. It comes with a new OTA 3 build. That means, this is the third beta program for the same device since launch. The first one was from Android 8.1 Oreo to 9 Pie, followed by a restart of the same Android 9 beta program since the former failed to bring a stable release. Here is yet another OTA 3 beta 1 update for the Xiaomi Mi Box S or 4K. Mind you this is a second beta, although it says Beta 1. The first one was a OTA 3 Beta 0 build.
The new Mi Box S/4K OTA 3 Beta 1 is a small OTA update with minor bug fixes and changes that came with the beta 0. This includes reversal of Time Zone back to GMT+5.30. The voice search not working within certain apps has also been fixed. However, some users have also reported some other bugs with this update.

The new OTA 3 beta update is still based on Android 9 Pie and features some minor issue. Android 10 might come to Mi Box 4K as it was just launched in some countries as a re-branded Mi Box S. So if you have already signed up for the beta program, you should get a new OTA update notification from settings -> about > system updates.
