OnePlus Nord is just about to launch in a few hours today. The new smartphone will feature some stunning hardware and software configuration. This is OnePlus’ first mid-range smartphone after a long time. It is supposed to be a successor to the very popular OnePlus X. While the device was rumored to be called OnePlus Z, the manufacturer settled for the name OnePlus Nord. We will know more about why they named it Nord at the launch below.

The OEM is going back to their roots and releasing a true flagship killer this year featuring 5G under $500. OnePlus Nord is reported to be a sub $500 smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chip, 8GB/128GB LPDDR4X RAM, and one of the first 5G phones at that range. This could be ground breaking for the Android industry.

Some other reported OnePlus Nord specifications include – 6.44″ FLUID AMOLED display with a 90 Hz screen refresh rate and FHD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution.
