Samsung is about to launch their latest Note-series flagship phones. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra launch date is set for August 5, 2020 at 10 AM EDT or 7 AM PDT. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). The display also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and a 60Hz refresh rate. As expected, the regular Note 20 is a budget phone and features both 4G and 5G variants. While, the Note 20 Ultra only has a 5G variant. The regular Note 20 phone doesn’t come with 120Hz refresh rate; found in all the Galaxy S20 phones.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, on the other hand, features a 6.9-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with WQHD resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels). The display also comes with 120Hz refresh rate, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+. The Note 20 Ultra may very well be the world’s first smartphone fitted with Gorilla Glass 7 screen protection.

Both the Note 20 series phone will reportedly feature the Exynos 990 processors for the European market or EU starting at 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Whereas, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865/865+ processor will be present for the Note 20 variants in the United States and China.

Some expected features include Android 10 out of the box support based on One UI 2.x, in-display fingerprint reader, S Pen in-built with latency rated at 26ms, 5G, LTE, dual SIM card slots and eSIM support (in eligible markets), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB 3.2 Type-C port. According to sources, the Note 20 series will also feature AKG stereo speakers, Samsung Pay, Wireless DeX, and Microsoft’s Project xCloud game streaming.
