Genshin Impact 1.4 update official stream just went live revealing new characters, weapons, events, system optimizations, and a new enemy. The update will go live on March 17, 2021. It will last about a month revealing two new banners including a Venti banner, and a returning Childe banner which includes a new 4 star character called Rosaria.

Genshin Impact has become one of the most popular Gacha games since its launch in late 2020 for its availability across all platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, PS4, and the newly added Nintendo Switch as well. Plus, you can play cross platform and pickup where you left. It also has an online mode to catchup with your friends. The latest Genshin Impact 1.4 update features a new character Rosaria – a 4 star character, Cryo, Polearm bearer. You can start wishing on the banner starting next month, as it’s under Childe’s banner and not Venti’s.

The first banner in 1.4 update is Venti, and the 2nd banner will be Childe with new 4* character Rosaria. Checkout all the abilities of Rosaria here.

The update brings new enemy called Abyss Herald. This is a new type of enemy which can be defeated only once in a quest, for now. It does not have a dedicated domain.

Genshin Impact 1.4 update brings several system optimizations like condensed Resin will be increased from 3 to 5. You can now lower the world level by 1. Doing so will also affect the world rewards. You can manually cook the dish which is set to auto cook. The profile screen will have a new option to show name cards.
