Download OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro OTA Update

The 2021 flagship phones from OnePlus are now receiving yet another OTA update today with new software version OxygenOS 11.2.5.5. The OEM is more focused on their latest shiny flagship phones with what look like, not-monthly, but weekly firmware updates. The latest OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro features May 2021 security patch level and a bunch of other improvements or system optimizations.

Just a couple of weeks ago, OnePlus rolled out Oxygen OS 11.4.4.4 with several bug fixes. It featured a long list of bugs that were eventually fixed. Plus, the newer April 2021 security patch level and updated GMS packages from March 2021. It also brought charging stability, fixed sensitivity of keyboard in the background area, brought temperature control strategy, etc.

OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 looks like a small security patch bump and fine tuned the system. The update improved charging performance, fixed lagging issue of keyboard. OnePlus camera also got an update with improvements to HDR effect and white balance.

The OTA is now live in North America, EU, and India; with OTA download only available for the Indian variants. Here, download and install Oxygen OS 11.2.5.5 for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

As for the NA and EU variants, get the last available update and go to settings > system updates > check OTA updates.
