OnePlus Nord just recently received Android 11 based on OxygenOS 11 earlier this year. While the very first OxygenOS 11 firmware update came with bugs, the manufacture soon released a HotFix update with build number Oxygen OS 11.1.1.1. Today, OnePlus Nord is receiving yet another stable OTA update with build OxygenOS 11.1.4.4 with June 2021 security patch level.

Apart from the newer security patch, the OTA also features some critical bug fixes and system improvements. These include, extended battery life by reducing the power consumption in several scenarios. OnePlus finally fixed the issue of delayed notifications. It also fixed the overheating of the device.

OxygenOS 11.1.4.4 for OnePlus Nord is now rolling out for the Indian, EU, and North American variants. The update includes June 2021 security patch level, several bug fixes, and system optimizations.

The previous update with build Oxygen OS 11.1.1.3 featured WiFi improvements for faster speed. The camera app got a huge update with tons of bug fixes including that for the Nightscape mode, fixed unresponsiveness of camera at times, framerate drop while video recording, and many more. How to update OnePlus Nord to Oxygen OS 11.1.4.4 (Android 11)?

The installation should be same as any other OnePlus upgrade via Local Upgrade method. This tutorial should help and also know various OnePlus 8 series variants!

  • Download Oxygen OS 11 ROM package zip
  • Transfer the ROM to the phone storage
  • Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  • After the upgrade is complete, click Restart
