The most awaited One UI 5.1.1 firmware update starts rolling out today with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 features for the previous-gen foldable devices. Samsung is implementing select features from the latest One UI for Fold 5 for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 devices globally.

The firm published an article today — “Samsung Brings the Latest Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9 Series and Watch6 Series Experiences to Previous Devices.” As the blog post suggests, the new Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 features are being implemented for Fold 4, Flip 4, and even older devices.

After an extensive beta program, the One UI 5.1.1 firmware update is finally rolling out via stable channel.

Subsequently, the update will eventually be delivered to Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Z Fold2, and Z Flip devices.

This customizable panel offers easy entry to features like Multi Window, touchpad functionality, screen capture, and more.

The media play bar button, complete with a 10-second fast forward and rewind, is now conveniently displayed when activating the Flex Mode Panel. Effortless scrubbing through media progress is facilitated by a simple press, further enhancing the viewing experience during Flex Mode. Seamlessly rewind or fast-forward your favorite content with a single tap through your personalized Flex Mode Panel Tool Bar. Alternatively, open a new Multi Window to respond to messages or browse reviews online, all while uninterrupted viewing continues.

Experience a new level of multitasking with foldables and tablets. While enjoying content on your Galaxy Z Fold4, Z Flip4, or Tab S8, easily open Samsung Internet in a pop-up window for seamless browsing alongside your content. Effortlessly switch from the pop-up window to Multi Window by holding the handle atop the pop-up. This update streamlines screen transitions, allowing split view and screen control through a simple long press of the pop-up handle.

How to download One UI 5.1.1 update on your Galaxy Fold?

One UI Watch 5.1.1 firmware update is available for download on the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 via stable channel.

Connect your device WiFi.
Go to Settings > Software Update.
Select Download and Install OTA updates.

Download One UI 5.1.1 full stock firmware directly from Samsung Servers

Here you can download One UI 5.1.1 for Galaxy Fold-series and Flip-series full stock firmware updates using SamFirm tool or the Firja Tool and install via Odin Flashtool.

You can use the SamFirm (Samsung Firmware Downloader) tool and the newly added Frija (also a Samsung Software Downloader) in order to download the full stock firmware directly from Samsung Servers.

Find the CSC code for your Galaxy Fold-series phone from here. Something like INS for Indian variant.
Input the model number and region code.
Select or check the Auto box.
Also, check decrypt automatically box.
Hit check updates option.
Once the details are shown, hit the download button.
