Bigger and Brighter Displays

Apple is bringing bigger displays for the iPhone 16 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro is said to come in at 6.3″ inch displays, while the Pro Max will jump to a whopping 6.9″ inch display. This increase in size is accompanied by a reduction in bezels with Apple’s new Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology.

The iPhone 16 Pro models are also rumored to feature new micro-LED OLED display technology. This translates to a brighter display with up to 1200 nits for typical SDR content, making those outdoor viewing sessions a breeze.

A new 48 Megapixel Camera

Apple keeps improving the camera every year. iPhone have become quite popular for mobile photography with new features like night photography, HDR, and more. The iPhone 16 Pro is no exception. While the exact details are still under wraps, rumors suggest that both Pro models will get an upgrade to a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. This would be a significant improvement over the current 12-megapixel sensor and should result in sharper, more detailed photos, especially in low-light conditions.

Another exciting rumor is the possibility of 5x optical zoom for both Pro models. This would be a major leap from the current 3x optical zoom and would allow you to capture stunning close-up shots without sacrificing quality.

We may also see super periscope camera on Pro Max/Ultra.

New Capture Button

Apple might be introducing a new button specifically designed for quick actions like taking camera pictures and also allow other quick tasks like flashlight or even SOS. The possibilities are endless. This “Capture Button” is rumored to be located on the side of the iPhone 16 Pro models and would provide a quick and convenient way to snap photos or start recording videos. This is a great addition for those who often use their iPhones for social media or vlogging.

Other Expected Upgrades

The iPhone 16 Pro models are also expected to receive a bump in processing power with a new A-series chip built on a 3-nanometer process. This should lead to improved performance and efficiency. There are also rumors of faster Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a slimmer MagSafe design.

Apple could use the dual-ion exchange glass process that it used for the iPhone 15 models for both the iPhone 16 models and the iPhone 16 Pro models. This process gives the rear glass a frosted effect that contrasts with the main frame color.

iPhone 16 Pro Max New Design and New Colors

While the overall design of the iPhone 16 Pro models is expected to remain similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, there could be a few tweaks. The iPhone 16 might get a redesigned camera cutout, and the MagSafe magnets might be slimmer. Color options could also see a refresh, with rose gold replacing the blue titanium option and a potentially glossier finish for the titanium models.
