We first reported about the Green Line issue a couple of months ago. Samsung has since taken steps to address this issue by offering free screen replacement for select devices. Samsung seems to have expanded the horizon and also included the Galaxy S21 FE, the entire S21 Series, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Prior to this, Galaxy S21 FE 5G was excluded.
Samsung has taken a significant step to address the persistent “green line,” “pink line,” “white line,” and “yellow line” issue affecting some of its popular smartphone models. The tech giant is offering a one-time free screen replacement for select Galaxy devices experiencing this problem. This move comes after a massive backlash from customers impacted with this issue.
Samsung already offers free one time screen replacement affected with Green Lines on the display for the Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The new additions are Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which is heavily impacted with this issue.
However, there’s are some conditions. Samsung is only commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to tackle hardware issues head-on.
It is a free one-time screen replacement program for select Galaxy models experiencing the green line issue. This applies even if your warranty has expired, as long as your phone is within 3 years of purchase and the GREEN LINE issue is occurs until September 30, 2024. Plus, it’s only available in select countries like India.
The best part! You get a free battery, OCTA assembly, and a Rework Kit on top of the screen replacement!
Nevertheless, there exists a caveat. There is to be no physical or water damage. You have to register your device until 30th April 2024. Checkout the eligibility criteria here.
