One UI 6 Watch 4th Beta rolled out for Samsung Galaxy Watches

Samsung’s One UI 6 Watch OS beta program kicked off earlier this month featuring Galaxy AI (Artificial Intelligence) for Watch 6, series, 5 series, and 4 series devices. Today, the firm released a 4th beta update One UI 6 Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 6 series devices featuring stability and battery improvements.

One UI 6 Watch Beta 4 OTA update just rolled out for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in the United States and South Korea. It will soon be available for India, EU (Europe), Australia, Canada, Japan, and more are next in line. Samsung also expands the beta program to Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5.

The Beta 4 is a major update in terms of battery life improvements and system stability. The firmware update also added support for Global AOD (Always on Display) for the Galaxy watches. Application execution time has been improved for quicker app launches. Overall, the system is snappier than before.

• The default value of ‘Show last app’ has been changed. For those who used to set ‘Not used’ or ‘Within 5 seconds, there is an issue that the value is not set correctly. The Beta 1 offered new features for health, fitness, and usability including energy score in Samsung Health for evaluating your physical and mental readiness based on sleep and activity, guiding you to rest or push harder. Enhanced sleep insights provide detailed analysis including heart rate and respiratory rate.

Custom workout routines can now be created to set setting targets for sets and reps. Improved controls include the double pinch gesture for quick actions, faster horizontal scrolling, and the ability to view ongoing activities at a glance.

Universal gestures and modes add convenience, while better notification management ensures you stay focused. Additional improvements like a stylish new font, longer battery life, and automatic Bluetooth audio connection added to enhance the overall experience.
