The New Weather App from Pixel 9 is now Available for Download
Google successfully launched the Pixel 9 series smartphones and foldable phones today at the Made by Google Live event. Alongside the hardware lineup, the search giant also released a bunch of Pixel exclusive apps like Pixel Weather App, Call Notes, Pixel Screenshots, and Pixel Studio. While we wait for the Pixel apps to be ported to all Android phones, we already have the new Pixel Weather APK available for download from the Pixel 9 series.
The full specifications along with the Pixel 9 Pro wallpapers and Pixel 9 Pro Fold wallpapers are now available from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold device. Google integrated Gemini at the core of Android and Pixel 9 series as well. You can get the new Gemini App from our downloads repository.
As for the new Pixel Weather App, it has been redesigned and provides more information than before. Google has made the Weather app extremely helpful with options like UV index and integrating Google Nano AI. Google also claims that the weather app offers super accurate weather forecasts. Here is a quote from the keynotes event.
Gemini Nano generates a custom AI weather report, so you don’t have to scroll through a bunch of numbers to get a sense of the day’s weather. You can even customize the app based on what you want to see.
New weather app offers information like temperature, humidity, hourly forecast, 10 day forecast, wind speed, UV index, AQI (air quality index), visibility, pressure in inHg.
For devices that support Google Nano, the app will provide suggestions- keeping an eye on the UV index to see if you need sunscreen. You can just drag and drop it.
