The previous gen Pixels are also receiving the update like the Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, 6, 6Pro, 6a, and more. However, not all Gemini AI features will be integrated into the previous gen devices. Once Google Nano gets implemented with upcoming Pixel Feature Drop, the AI features from Pixel 9 Pro will be activated. So stay tuned. Pixel Camera 9.5 has now separated the Night Mode and Astrophotography modes. You can now manually activate Astrophotography mode whenever you want.

The latest Pixel Camera app update (version 9.5.118) introduces a long-awaited feature: manual activation of Astrophotography mode. Previously, this mode was only accessible automatically when the device detected it was stationary, typically requiring a tripod or stable surface.

Now, users can easily enable Astrophotography mode themselves by following these simple steps:

1. Open Night Sight mode and access the quick settings.
2. Enable the Astrophotography option.
3. Adjust the Night Sight duration slider to the new “Astro” setting (far right).

Upon activation, a 5-second timer starts automatically, giving you time to position your device securely and frame your celestial shot. This timer can be disabled if preferred.

This update significantly enhances the flexibility and user control over Pixel’s renowned night photography capabilities, allowing for more spontaneous and creative stargazing captures.

It also includes updates from the previous Pixel Camera 9.4 update from June Feature Drop brought two useful features, including Select Best Photo and Manual Camera Lens Selection. With the new Google Camera, you can manually select which camera lens to use in the main Photo mode, ranging from Ultrawide, Wide, to Telephoto. Another great feature is the automatic selection of the portrait photo. The camera will identify the best photo, so you don’t need to retake photos every time.

4. Add Me for Group Photos

4. Pixel uses AR to guide the second shot’s composition
5. AI merges both images seamlessly

The popular Magic Editor feature received a significant upgrade with “Reimagine.” This is an AI-powered tool that allows you to describe the changes you want to make to your photo using natural language. 6. Auto Frame in Magic Editor

This feature comes with an updated, easy-to-follow UI. It is now simpler to capture wide-angle night scenes.

8. Zoom Enhance

Zoom Enhance is a powerful post-processing tool that allows you to zoom in on your photos after you’ve taken them without losing quality. Using advanced AI, it intelligently fills in the gaps between pixels and predicts fine details, resulting in high-quality zoomed images.

This feature is available on the Pixel 9 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold, and is also rolling out to Pixel 8 Pro users.

9. Made You Look (Pixel 9 Pro Fold Exclusive)

For Pixel 9 Pro Fold users, the Made You Look feature is a clever tool that helps capture kids’ attention when taking photos. When activated, it displays an eye-catching visual (like a bright yellow chicken) on the outer screen of the folded device. The visual responds to hold children’s attention, making it easier to get that perfect shot of fidgety little ones.

Download new Pixel Camera 9.5.118.660615940.21 APK is now available for download with Pixel 9 Pro features. It is a bundled APKs or APKM file and not a simple APK file.

Starting with Android 11, Google released apps in Split APKs (multiple APKs) format. This means the app is split into several packages including the base and config APK files. This solves the compatibility issue and helps install apps like the Google Camera APK on any Android device featuring different dpi, screen resolution, screen size, architecture, and more.

Interestingly, the package size has decreased. The previous Google Camera APK we listed weighed 580 MB in size before installation.
