Samsung One UI 6.1.1 Full Changelog and Feature List, Released for Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung has released the latest version of its One UI software, One UI 6.1.1, for the Galaxy S24 series bringing a host of new features and improvements to Galaxy devices. The update focuses heavily on enhancing AI capabilities, productivity, and camera functionality.
One of the most exciting additions is the new “Sketch to image” feature powered by Galaxy AI. Users can now transform simple drawings into captivating works of art using AI-generated styles. This creative tool is available in Samsung Notes, Photo Editor, and other apps, allowing users to easily turn basic sketches into polished images.
The update also introduces new AI-powered writing assistance. Samsung Keyboard’s new Composer feature can help users draft texts, emails, and social media posts by expanding on a short prompt or snippet of text. This aims to streamline the writing process and help users craft better messages.
For photography enthusiasts, One UI 6.1.1 brings several camera enhancements. The new Live Effects feature applies cinematic effects to people and animals in photos, giving subjects a more lifelike appearance. Users can also now create fun animated stickers and GIFs from motion photos with just a few taps.
Productivity sees a boost with an improved multi-window experience, making it easier to switch between picture-in-picture and split screen modes. File management is also more convenient, with the ability to create shortcuts to frequently used files right on the home screen.
Health and wellness features have been expanded as well. Samsung Health now provides more detailed sleep analysis, including metrics like heart rate and respiratory rate during sleep. A new energy score powered by Galaxy AI offers insights into physical and mental condition based on sleep and activity data.
The update is rolling out first to the Galaxy S24 series, with other recent Galaxy devices like the S23 lineup, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 set to receive it in the coming weeks. While some AI features may be limited to newer models, Samsung is bringing many of the core enhancements to a wide range of Galaxy phones and tablets.
This is Samsung’s latest firmware update announced at Galaxy Unpacked event and already launched for two new foldable phones like Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
