OpenAI Expands Advanced Voice Access to European Users on Free and Paid Plans (How to Enable)
Update: OpenAI extends Advanced Voice feature to European Plus users, bringing AI voice capabilities to EU, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.
OpenAI has officially rolled out its Advanced Voice feature to Free and Plus subscribers across Europe, marking a significant expansion of their AI voice capabilities. The service is now available to users in the European Union, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein, eliminating the need for VPN workarounds that some users previously relied on.
While this expansion brings enhanced voice interaction capabilities to European users, some early feedback suggests there may be room for improvement in language recognition, particularly for non-English languages. Danish users, for instance, have reported challenges with short voice inputs being interpreted as English.

Open AI has been teasing advanced voice mode for several months now. While it already rolled out to paid users last month, the free users are just now seeing the new Advanced Voice Mode starting today. All you need to do is update to the latest beta version.
