Samsung Confirms Stable One UI 6 Watch Roll Out Begins Today for Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6
Update: Samsung confirmed in a blogpost that One UI 6 Watch OS update is rolling out for Galaxy Watch6, Galaxy Watch6 Classic, Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic and Galaxy Watch FE with Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 features.
Samsung is expanding the availability of its latest wearable experiences, One UI 6 Watch, to a wider range of Galaxy Watch devices. This update brings select features from the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 to previous generations of Galaxy Watch.

- Personalized Insights: Energy Score provides an intuitive score calculated from various health metrics, including sleep, activity, sleeping heart rate, and sleeping heart rate variability.
- Sleep Tracking: A detailed analysis powered by an advanced AI algorithm and new sleep metrics, such as movement during sleep, sleep latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
- De Novo FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature: Now available on a wider range of Galaxy Watch devices to help users proactively spot potential signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea.

- Real-time Progress Monitoring: Users can monitor progress in real time when running or cycling with the Race feature.
- Workout Routine: Users can combine various exercises and create personalized routines tailored to their individual goals and preferences.

Original: Last month, we reported that near final One UI 6 Watch Beta rolled out for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, 5, 6 beta testers. All the Galaxy AI features, and bug fixes were already in place in the last update. Turns out the update was indeed final, as beta users are receiving a stable One UI Watch 6 OS update based on Wear OS 5 and Android 14 starting today.
Samsung’s last beta 6 update for Galaxy Watches was simply a security patch bump, a few bug fixes, and system improvements. The final beat had all the Galaxy AI (Artificial Intelligence) new health features, global AOD, Android 14, and more for Watch 6 series, 5 series, and 4 series devices.
Moreover, Samsung released the biggest update to Samsung Health App v6.28 featuring medical health records (EMR) integration, advanced medications tracking, and smart food intake monitor. This is followed by the Samsung Health’s previous update with Energy Score enabling all One UI 6 Watch OS features as well.
Today, Samsung officially released a new OTA update to beta testers saying the One UI Watch 6 beta program is over and a minor 136 MB update featuring stable firmware with build R930XXU1BXJ5.
This update brings October 2024 security patch and focuses on improving system stability, optimizing system performance, better consumption of battery, improved application execution performance, and fixed the issue with network interoperability.
The OTA is rolling out for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in the United States, South Korea, India, EU (Europe), Australia, Canada, Japan, and more are next in line. Samsung also expands the stable to Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5. So these devices will also receive the same update.

Faster horizontal scrolling Flick the screen left or right or to quickly scroll through notifications or tiles.
View ongoing activities all at once Tap the bottom of your watch face to view a list of ongoing activities such as phone calls, exercises, or music playing. Tap an item in the list to easily switch between them.
Take action quickly with Universal gestures In situations where a quick action is needed, such as answering a phone call or turning off an alarm, the button for the action will be automatically focused so you can do the action immediately without the need to manually change focus.
Go back without touching the screen Move your wrist back and forth to go back to the previous screen. You can control this in Universal gestures.
Get only the notifications you want Choose which apps are allowed to send you notifications directly on your watch without opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.

Stylish new font One UI 6 Watch has a new default font with a more stylish and modern feel. You’ll see the new font if the default font is selected in Settings. If you’re using a different font, you’ll still see that font after upgrading to One UI 6 Watch.
Make your battery last longer When Power saving is turned on, you can also choose to limit health features to make your battery last even longer than before.
Automatically connect to Bluetooth audio devices When you start playing music on your watch, your Bluetooth headphones or speaker will automatically connect for playback. If no Bluetooth audio devices are available to connect, music will play through your watch’s speaker if your music app supports it.
