Following Microsoft’s Copilot App for Windows and the standalone app for MacOS, OpenAI released the ChatGPT Windows app independent of Microsoft. Windows 11 and Windows 10 users can now try the stable version of ChatGPT app right on their desktop. No need for a browser or Microsoft Edge dependency on your PC.
However, similar to Microsoft’s Copilot, this may not be a native app. More like a website wrapper with independent features like companion window.
