Google Gemini v1.0.68 Update Released with Clean UI, 10 Voices, and Memory Feature
New Gemini app update v1.0.68 just rolled out featuring a new captivating modern and clean UI. All the unimportant information has been removed and hidden under settings. All you see on the homepage is a greeting screen with a chat bar at the bottom and Voice Mode in the bottom right corner. This comes right after the recent Gemini iOS app for iPhones which also comes with the same clean UI.
Previous Google AI update featured support for Android tablets and Foldable phones. It also brought Gemini Live feature to free users and Advanced users alike. Gemini Overlay enables seamless access to the Google AI chatbot over any app without opening the Gemini app.
After month’s of inactivity, the Google Gemini container app finally updated to version 1.0.68. While the Gemini APK is just a container app and actual functionalities come from the Google app and Play Services, having the Gemini app installed from Play Store will provide support for all Android devices and not just Pixel series.
New Features of Google’s Gemini AI app
According to the changelog, Gemini can now remember things. This is similar to ChatGPT’s Memory feature, wherein the chatbot can remember details from previous interactions, thereby facilitating more personalized and contextually relevant conversations.
Starting today, you can ask Gemini to remember your interests and preferences, AI experience by saving and managing personal information. Whether it’s work-related details, hobbies, or life aspirations, you can guide Gemini to understand your needs better. This user-defined approach allows the AI to deliver more consistent and precise responses.
It Took Google too long to implement the Memory feature, but I am just glad it’s here.
