Remember When OpenAI Threatened Your Job? A Free AI Just Replaced ChatGPT and CEO’s In Total Meltdown Over It

Remember when OpenAI threatened replacing humans with AI? People are now replacing ChatGPT with DeepSeek. A cheaper AI just popped up and quickly became the most downloaded app in the App Store, surpassing ChatGPT by miles. A newer, cheaper AI just replaced ChatGPT and OpenAI dropped the ball.
A hidden message in OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman’s, recent blogpost named Reflections insinuate that AI may very well be replacing humans in workforce in 2025.
We are now confident we know how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it. We believe that, in 2025, we may see the first AI agents “join the workforce” and materially change the output of companies.
In short, AI will be taking over your job. Companies have already started using Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT replacing roles traditionally held by customer service representatives. With advancements in Generative AI tools which can write code, are potentially diminishing entry-level programming positions.
OpenAI has also openly advertised to companies and organizations in the past selling their shiny new APIs to automate certain tasks and replace workforce.
However, when a cheaper, more sophisticated AI launched and quickly became the most downloaded app on the App Store — essentially threatening ChatGPT’s job — all of a sudden there’s a total meltdown at the OpenAI headquarters.
Context:
A new player has emerged from China that’s causing ripples across the global tech industry. DeepSeek has quickly become the most downloaded AI, threatening the dominance of established giants like OpenAI and Google. What sets this newcomer apart is its commitment to cost-effective solutions and open-source development.
DeepSeek’s emergence has had far-reaching implications for the tech industry. The company’s success has led to significant market reactions, including a notable decline in Nvidia’s stock value, with the chip manufacturer losing nearly $600 billion in market capitalization. It also wiped out $1 trillion in the US market, essentially bursting the AI bubble.
Additional context:
OpenAI is accusing DeepSeek of stealing training data from ChatGPT; which was indeed stolen from publishers, creators, and artists.
There are accusations of DeepSeek stealing training data from OpenAI. But when OpenAI steals content from publishers, artists, and YouTube creators for training their AI, it’s fair game?
OpenAI losing to DeepSeek is fair game. Competition is always welcome.
