Last month, Nothing Phone 1 finally received the long-awaited Nothing OS 3.0 software update, featuring Android 15. It included all the new software features which were released for the flagship Phone 2. Today, the firm released its second Nothing OS 3.0 OTA update for Phone 1 which brings several important features like Circle to Search, new wallpapers, latest security patch, power-off password verification, and many bug fixes.

One of the most notable additions is the “Circle to Search” feature. Now, users can initiate a search directly from any text, image, or video displayed on the screen. Whether you favor the traditional 3-button navigation—triggered by a long-press of the Home button—or prefer gesture navigation via a long-press on the navigation bar, this feature is easily accessible through the device’s settings. The device’s security got an enhancement which introduces a power-off password verification mechanism.
